Love is in the Air - Blog Hop

Welcome to a New Year and another Blog Hop!
Please take a moment to look around while you're here. A "follow" here, Facebook, Google Plus, Pinterest or Twitter would be greatly appreciated. Just check out the links on my sidebar. One more thing, I love comments!

My first project is my Hearts Collection Framelits banner. I simply cut out a bunch of hearts using Twitterpated DSP and strung them up on white Baker's Twine while alternating the different sizes. I was inspired by something similar and smaller I saw on Pinterest.

Don't you just love how it turned out! It looks so great hanging up that I may just have to leave it there all year round. I sit over to the left of it so I see the hearts and the reflection on the wall at just the right angle.

After the banner, I made this awesome card. I agonized  for hours over the placement of the hearts on several card attempts. Then I remembered to do a sketch challenge.

.
It turns out that the Retro Sketches Challenge 44 was the perfect solution to my problem. I love sketch challenges! Have you tried one? If not, you definitely should.

Since I had another entire day before I needed to be ready I decided to keep going. This is a mini memo book measuring 3-1/4" by 4-1/2". I used the same DSP on all 3 of these projects and on this one, a similar placement of the hearts. This book will be for listing things I love and things for which I am grateful.

Thanks for hopping through! We really appreciate you! Click below to hop:

The houndstooth coordinates nicely with the background. I love the texture. Your sentiment is perfect for the little notebook. What a great reminder. Oh and your little plant on the right needs some Miracle Grow. Hee hee! ;-)
