Blog Hop: Step it up January

Welcome to a New Year! This means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Though I, like most, have new goals it is just another day because I like to have new goals every day. In this case though, I have hopes to be a better blogger this year but mostly to get the best use out of my unintentional five year renewal. Best of luck to you and your best of intentions for the coming year.

In 2017 my stampin' studio was invaded by inventory for my new eBay store and I will be working to make sure that the space is shared more evenly. I have goals to make both ventures equally successful. In addition to that I have plans to revive my Etsy store which will include hand-stamped cards and retired product (to make room for new.) There is a lot of work ahead.

Back in November I attended Stampin' Up!'s On Stage event for demonstrators. As always, during and after attending a demonstrator event I was once again drawn into the joy of stamping. We were introduced to the Occasions Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. If you are expecting them from me they are coming. I ran out of ink for my printer. In the mean time, visit the links on the sidebar and get your wish list started.

Today I am "stepping up" my game by sharing the Lots of Happy Card Kit. I was instantly enamored by the look and contents of the kit. Colored pencils (exclusive to kit), stamps with block and ink all included with the pre-cut card pieces and envelopes in a pretty box. Sorry about the glare. I pulled out some pieces to show you my partially colored and partially assembled work (above). I got it on a demonstrator pre-order and dove in immediately. I pulled apart the pieces, sorted, and partially assembled again and again. I'm not gonna lie though, it is time consuming because I found out that you can't just sit down and complete the whole kit in an hour unless you are doing it with friends. I have been coloring a few at a time since then and just barely finished one of each card yesterday afternoon after applying some commitment. I did my best to stick to the instructions but you don't have to if you don't want to.

The kit and the refill makes 20 cards, 4 of each of 5 designs with envelopes as seen above. Check it out on page 15 of the Occasions Catalog (link on your right).

You should also know that there is a matching stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog page 8. You could get a kit and a refill or some supplemental tools to reach the $50.

Featured item: 146388 Lots of Happy Card Kit $35
Refill available: 145605 Lots of Happy Card Kit Refill $21
Sale-A-Bration Set: 147194 Lots of Lavender $0 with $50 order

  2. WOW ! I am getting this for my Mom, a very early present for sometime. She loves when I take a card and make several kits for her to stamp and embellish on her own. She would get a nice stamp set with it too. Thanks for sharing.
