Alternative Tuesdays: Exploring In Color Paper Pumpkin May 2023 Pop-Up Card

Alternative Tuesdays was created so that you can find different ways to utilize the current or past Paper Pumpkin Subscription Kits.

Creating a Pop-Up card like this or similar with your kit can be a fun way to spruce up your day. After completing it, a friend mentioned that the scene did not need to be cut and mounted. It could have been folded and popped up as is. A great idea.

Here is the tutorial that was used to create this card. Alterations were made to the sizes so that the card is standard size. New measurements are listed below:

Card Base: Cut to 4-1/4" x 11" then Score and fold at 5-1/2"
Pop-Up Mechanism: Cut to 8" x 3-1/2" then Score at 2-1/2 and 6" (or spin and score at 2-1/2" again). Turn 45 degrees and score lengthwise at 1-3/4". Score an X on the center panel and fold all.
Feature Layer: Cut to 10" x 3-1/2" then Score at 2-1/2" and 5" and 7-1/2" and fold.

Visit the link above for how to assemble until I get the nerve to do a video.
