Alternative Tuesdays: With Love and Gratitude September 2023

What you see here is a notebook cover. It was made by cutting the sides off of the bag on project #2. The top flap of the bag was glued down so that it was no longer a flap and the top edge was scored to the depth of the top of the notebook. After estimating where the gold cording would be tied, another score line was added so that the flap could open without getting in the way of the gold cording (not included with the kit). The pumpkin was added to the basic layout of the original card (raised on Stampin Dimensionals) and the word "Grateful" was carefully stamped as to not ink the entire stamp. 

This angle shows how the entire cover lifts and folds at the score line. The back panel is an undecorated section of the bag. Other embellishments added were leftovers from other kits.
